Facebook has provided a platform – with outstanding depth – for expression of thoughts and perception. Over the years, it has become a place where your voice is heard and perceptions are acquired, opinions are weighed and goods and services are discussed. The core part of the platform where you can do all this has been ‘Fan Pages’.

Be it brands, businesses, products, services, goods, reputation, trends, celebrities — Facebook provides a forum for opinions to be nurtured, within its powerful social framework.

Using this platform can be a boon and will provide you with the opportunity to get closer to one of the most important people in your business cycle — the customer. Your customer will become a fan, will tell you how good your services are, what they like in your products (and what they don’t like), giving opinions to help you improve your services. The ability to understand your fans and interact with them can be the difference between a popular, successful brand, and a brand that stays in the darkness of the unknown.

Socialize with your fans

Engage them. They need to have the feeling of being part of your products or services. Ask them how they feel and what they know about your products, and keep them updated with new trends and developments in your sector of business. They need to have the feeling of being important to your brand, an understanding that they are included in your plan.

They need to have the feeling that their voice is heard and acted upon and also that they are respected. You can’t get respect without giving it. They need to feel like if they don’t take part in your activities on fan pages then they would be missing on something really vital. So, engage them. Mingle with them. Create the feeling of being included amongst them.

Commend your active members by giving recognition

Like any other fan page, your page will have active members. These are the very important members who will be taking part in the fan page’s activities, and keeping the threads in flow. Praise their efforts! Make them feel important by giving them recognition and privileges to your page, or highlighting their comments for all to see. These fans (unique visitors) of yours will be the ones who will drive more traffic to your fan page, and by giving them some recognition they will bring in more friends to mingle and chat about your brand.

Content is still ‘the King’

Keeping the same content on your fan page, which already is written on your website or blogs, won’t attract the people who are already aware of your brand.

Reach out to your customers: generate some new content; tell them about free offers or ways to save when buying your products; write some informative and unique content which helps draw in the first visitors of your page; try to come up with things which may intrigue people and make them share with their friends—this all contributes to making your page feel alive.

Keep the forum alive

Answer the questions of your fans, assist them in understanding a concept if they are in flux, talk with them — keep the forum alive and let the ideas flow. Healthy conversations and discussions, keeping the users engaged, and adding unique and engaging content will always lead you to more exposure – and will generate interest among the masses.

Social Cubix have announced the completion of their latest application Apartments.Com. The application focuses on the apartments; in which the users let their apartments shown on the application and also can give it for rent. It nearly took a month for the Social Cubix developers to come out with this application.

Apartments.com is a website that offers a wonderful idea of sharing and showing off the apartments by its users who are interested to put them on rent as well. The website covers all the big cities of United States and gives a helpful hand to those people who are on the move and looking to seek for quick residency in their new town.

Apartments.com contacted Social Cubix to develop a Facebook application for them due to growing need of having a brand and interacting with as many users at one place – at the largest social network of the world. Social Cubix helped Apartments.com in understanding the power of Social Media and how to use it as a tool to promote their brand with providing their services across the Facebook nation.

This application serves as a haven for those who keep moving in United States due to their work and business and are always looking for quick solutions regarding their residential concerns. People would be able to put their places on this application with the pictures of their rooms along with rent rates. It helps both the parties agree on mutual terms on net.

“Apartments.com is growing and reckons to be a household name in US. We are excited to work for them and feel proud to render our services to them. Our developer team worked hard on this application with limited time provided and meeting all the deadlines. It was a wonderful experience for us.” – Mark Uzoka, the CEO at Social Cubix.
