The Give Thoughts Facebook Application allows users to send thoughts to their friends and loved ones and grow a tree. The richly designed graphical interface shows a heart ‘fruit’ each time a thought is given and users earn points. The ultimate goal is for the user to grow a full tree filled with hearts by giving thoughts. To send thoughts, users simply select from preloaded messages or create their own custom thoughts to send to friends.

A point system was implemented that awards points based on social actions such as logging in to the application, sending thoughts, inviting friends, etc. User can then redeem these points towards charity. Users can also create an application badge to display on their profile pages. The application uses Offerpal to monetize social actions.
