When Boy Scouts of America wanted to leverage their Facebook presence to increase real-store sales, Social Cubix answered the call. A full-featured store finder was created and plugged into their Facebook Fan Page, giving thousands of their fans access to Boy Scouts stores nationwide.

The Boy Scouts were aware of the advantages of using the Google Maps API to run the mapping utility: fast searches, a user-friendly interface, and multiple views of the map. Social Cubix had the expertise to program the mapping utility into a full Facebook application, directly on their fan page.

Users can easily search for different types of stores nearest to them, including Scout Shops, Council Shops, and Merchandise Distributors. After they enter some details about their address, the Store Locator creates directions from their home to the store. Potential customers can easily print out directions to the store so they don’t get lost.
