daFlores is a leading Flower company in America and have been known for their innovative ways of doing business in the Flower industry. It’s part of the innovative culture that prompted daFlores to consider adding value to their presence on Facebook. We helped daFlores grow their Fanbase to more than 125,000 fans. They approached us with a gifting application in mind and after much brainstorming with their creative team and we made it even better.We were to develop an application that will enable daFlores grow their fan base on their Fanpage and provide to their fans, a socially engaging utility that they can cherish.
The finished daFlores application is as good a gifting application as there is on Facebook. In addition to providing a utility to send virtual or real flower arrangements to friends on Facebook, this application allows you to schedule your gifts, send real gifts instead of virtual ones, post your arrangements to your wall, as well as send gifts directly from your wall.
This gifting app with a very clean user interface was an instant fan favorite, attracting more than 250,000 users in its first week of launch.
The application was originally programmed in English but DaFlores has a large Spanish following. Facebook API doesn’t handle language conversions so we built a converted system, fully integrated so users can elect the use the app in Spanish or English. As a result of the success and positive user feedback, daFlores came back to us for more updates to the application which includes the ability to schedule delivery of gifts, the addition of greeting card options, a mini wall version of the app, and a widget that displays featured floral arrangements by DaFlores.
