Love is in the air and White Castle wanted a part of it. The fast food visitors could take pictures in store to be shared later with friends and family. To make this a viral effort, White Castle recruited Social Cubix to build a Facebook application that will spread the love during the week of Valentine’s day.
Social Cubix worked with the marketing team at White Castle to design and develop an application that hosted pictures taken at the locations for framing. Users that did not have the opportunity to take pictures at the locations were able to upload photos from their computers and frame them with fun frames created for the application. Resize your photo as you want, frame it then share with friends and loved ones, all in the spirit of Valentine’s day and of course burgers!
The campaign was an instant hit on Facebook with over 88,000 pictures framed just within one week of deploying the application. The pictures generated over 250,000 conversations including likes and shares. Till, the next Valentine’s day comes up, live, love and eat burgers!
