Challenge:

Let it flow! Social Cubix was handed the task of designing and developing a Facebook application that allows users to compose music while listening to a beat. Pop and flow is meant to be a collaborative music lyric generating platform where a community of friends can contribute to lyrics started by someone. The app needed an edgy interface common with music platforms for an enjoyable user experience.

Solution:

We designed and developed an application that integrated music and text sharing with community building. With the application, users can search for existing beats in the beat room or upload a beat from their computer. After uploading the beat, they can then start a lyrics session and invite their friends to join them. Other users can vote on the lyrics written and the owners could then list not only their lyrics but also their beat in the flo shop for sale to other users. The goal is to build a community of avid songwriters who have a passion for good music.

Results:

A beautifully designed application that is in Beta but is set to launch in spring of 2012. Industry influencers are raving about the ease of use of the application and what it would mean to the song writing community.
